One-to-one coaching
Private time on your technique, your set-up and your training. Booking a block of sessions brings the hourly price down.

Archery coaching FAQs
How much does archery coaching with Patrick cost?
One-to-one coaching is £70 an hour for a single session, £60 an hour when you book a block of 5 sessions, and £50 an hour for 10 hours or more. Group coaching is £250 per half day for the whole group, plus travel at £27.50 an hour. Seminars are priced on request.
Do you coach barebow and longbow archers as well as recurve?
Yes. I coach recurve, barebow and longbow archers. The fundamentals of a good shot are shared across bow styles, and each style then has its own aiming and equipment work.
Where do you coach?
I'm based in Shropshire and coach in Shropshire, Shrewsbury, Telford, the West Midlands and across the UK. For group days and seminars I travel to your club; travel time is charged at £27.50 an hour.
Do you coach beginners and juniors?
Yes. I coach archers from their first season to international level. I'm enhanced DBS checked and privately insured. For archers under 18, a parent or guardian makes the booking.
Who is Patrick Huston?
Patrick Huston is a British recurve archer, the British number one, a two-time Olympian (Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020) and a three-time world champion, with 24 international medals. He is Chairman of Bowbrook Archers in Shrewsbury and founder of the Level Up Archery app.
