Who I am

This website is run by Patrick Huston, trading as Huston Archery. I am the data controller for the personal information described here. You can contact me at patrick@hustonarchery.com.

What this website collects

Nothing directly. This site has no forms, no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Fonts and images are served from this site, so your browser doesn't contact any other company when you visit.

The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. Like any web host, Firebase briefly processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. Google acts as my processor for this.

When you contact me

If you email or message me, I receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to tell me, such as your shooting level or availability. I use this only to reply, arrange coaching and keep a record of sessions we agree. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract.

Email is handled by Google Workspace. If you message me on WhatsApp, that message is also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy. I keep your details only as long as I need them to coach you and to meet tax and insurance requirements, then delete them.

If you are under 18, I'll need a parent or guardian to make the booking and be involved in arranging sessions.

Purchases and the app

Elbow sling orders, courses and the Level Up Archery app are handled on levelup-archery.com, which has its own privacy policy. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Your rights

• Ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you
• Ask me to correct it, or to delete it
• Object to or restrict how I use it

Email me to use any of these rights and I'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
